Nebojša Ivanović is a medical doctor, associate professor, specialist in general surgery, head of the department of oncological surgery at KBC “Bežanijska Kosa”. His broad scientific field is surgery with anesthesiology, and his narrow scientific field is oncology. He is a professor of surgery at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade. In addition to breast cancer, he successfully deals with thyroid gland surgery, melanoma, colon and liver tumors. He is the author of scientific articles and studies in the field of surgical technique and prognosis of breast cancer, published in the world’s leading journals of oncological surgery. He created and published his own surgical technique for sparing breast cancer surgery.
